Parts in this section are for the oil-cooled horizontally opposed, 1200cc, flat twins with 4 valves per cylinder, manufactured from 2004. Although derived from the earlier “oil-heads” these bikes are lighter, more powerful, smoother and more economical than their predecessors with nearly every component reworked. Models covered are all designated R1200 with all variants (GS/GSA/R/S/ST/RT) catered for. In 2007 the GS and Adventurer models were upgraded and are referred to as GSM and GSAM.
