Described by BMW as a 'multi-purpose box', this mechanism is riveted into the top of the rear half of each pannier, and controls the lid lock, carrying handle and catch to hold the pannier to the bike. These mechanisms are supplied without lock cylinders or keys, so you can install your existing lock. Or use ACA37270.
