This kit fits all models up to 09/1976, i.e. /5 and /6 models.

The kit contains a replacement rotor, stator windings and diode board.
If you are in any doubt about the compatibility of this system with your bike ensure that the diameter of your current stator where it fits into the engine casing is 105mm.

To mount the kit on a /5 with stator housing type 001, a 1974 on stator housing must be used.
Stator type numbers are shown on the housing itself.

The original /5 brush holder assembly from the 001 type is exactly the same and fits the later housing.

It is recommended that a front cover from a 1975 - 78 model is used as they have cooling slots in the casting.
