Aliant lithium batteries are designed specifically to have the smallest size and weight for their power. This makes them ideal for café racers and other specials.
Aliant batteries are an extremely high quality lithium unit designed to operate at high and low temperatures. Designed to last for up to 3000 charge cycles and 12000 starts they can be rapid charged and mounted in any orientation. They come in a robust ABS case and have balancing technology to ensure that each cell is charged and discharged equally.
Choose a battery that has sufficient cranking power for your bike. The cranking power of your existing battery is the best source of this information. If you are running the battery in a cold climate you will need a higher specification as shown in the details below. The lead acid battery equivalent capacity or PbEq is less important because of the charging characteristics of lithium batteries.

For lithium batteries that are designed as direct replacements on specific models please see JMT batteries in the battery section applicable to your bike

Charging
Lithium batteries have different charging requirements to conventional batteries. Some conventional chargers will charge lithium batteries effectively and safely but there are specific compatibility issues such as maximum charge rate (Amps), charge capacity (Amp hours) and voltage. Check the specification of your charger and battery to avoid damage to the battery and safety issues. Overcharging or charging the lithium batteries too quickly can cause them to swell up and they can burst. If you are not sure that your conventional charger fulfils these requirements for your lithium battery we list Ctek Lithium XS charger ACA66504.
