Twin disc conversions on this model are expensive! This is a very cost effective solution to the standard weak braking performance. The 320mm brake disc gives a dramatic improvement in stopping performance over the standard 260mm disc, with the provided adaptor allowing the continued use of the original brake caliper. Supplied with a new lower metal brake pipe that will need forming to fit (can be done by hand, no special tools required).
This performance disc is made of high carbon steel and may show surface rust when used in certain conditions or if the bike is put away when wet; in this scenario we suggest drying the disc off. This kit is not suitable for sintered pads. Organic pads are recommended, and brake paste should be applied to the back of the pads when fitting.
