The CTEK story starts over 20 years ago in Vikmanshyttan, a small village in Dalarna in Sweden. This is where their founder – Swedish inventor Bengt Wahlqvist – created the first ever battery charger to use electronic pulse technology. And, thanks to Bengt’s technical expertise and perseverance, the world’s first ‘smart’ battery charger was born. Since 1997 the CTEK product range has grown significantly to meet the demands of vehicle owners, professional workshops and applications in many other industries.
