This bridging brake line is for bikes with a single front brake hose and a one piece fibreglass mudguard (not the two piece plastic one).
It was fitted to bikes with ABS, and also to non ABS bikes with the single, 800mm front brake hose fitted from 08/1989 onwards. This fits in conjunction with the brake line grommet BRA50540, which fits in the brake line holder on top of the front mudguard.
