This centre stand fitting kit contains stainless steel bolts, nylock nuts, 13.5mm bushes and springs. This kit will only work with the earlier type centre stand, which is no longer available
from BMW, which can be identified easily, as it has a single central crossbar with two downward pointing hooks. You will need the pressed steel frame mounted spring hanger
brackets (46521238329) in order to use these short springs. This kit fits R45, R65 from 09/1978 to 01/1982, and R80 and R100 models from 09/1980 to 01/1982.
If you have the updated stand as per FRA01593, please use fitting kit FRA01592.
