This 8mm diameter cable nipple holder is used in conjunction with the dimpled handlebar levers used up to 09/1974, i.e. HAA33348 and HAA33350.
In addition, this was used to attach the lower end of the front brake cable CAA34400 with the ATE master cylinders used before 09/1975 (the 14mm item 1233954 and the 16mm item 1233955 (BRA33955).
