This is the vertical outlet breather housing fitted as standard to R45 and R65 models, located at the rear right hand side of the crankcase.

Please note: BMW now specify this breather cover for models produced up to 09/1976, as a replacement for the discontinued cover ENR52731. For that application, it is used with the breather hose ENA38215.
