Wunderlich crashbars designed to integrate with the R1200RT styling. Not only does it offer all round protection for the vulnerable cylinder head covers, it also protects the underside of the engine as well.
Integrated into the structure is a strong base frame that functions as a solid mounting point as well as an oil sump and oil filter protector. The optimised distribution of forces ensures that the sensitive threads in the engine cases are not damaged.
The protector is connected to the bike with 6 mounting points, but none are detrimental to the engine. The mounting points all act together when loads are applied to the bar and spread the load.
Cornering and ground clearance are not affected and routine maintenance can be carried out without removing the protector.
