Main fairing bracket; black painted tubular steel. Please note; all versions of the R1200RT until the advent of the liquid cooled version use this bracket. However, the way mirrors attached changed over time. Initial versions of the RT up to 09/2009 had three mount pins on each side to attach the mirror (so the mirrors could be just popped off). The twin cam RT, built from 09/2009, used one mount pin and two M6 screws per side instead. Our fairing brackets are sold without mirror attachments, to avoid confusion. The mount pins simply unscrew from the fairing bracket. Please see FAE17082.
