After the original weld has been turned off, the entire spline shaft can be pressed out of your crown wheel. Then, this high quality replacement spline shaft is pressed in. The new spline shaft is manufactured of the same material as the original crown wheel, so the two parts can be welded together perfectly by an experienced welder.
