The original metal footrests on the R 1200 GS LC Adventure and the R 1250 GS Adventure are perfectly designed for off-road use: they are robust, stable and dirt-tolerant. Even when covered in dust and mud, they offer a secure grip. They offer grip but no comfort. So far so good.

What is great off-road can quickly become uncomfortable in everyday life or when traveling if you are not wearing cross-boots. Unsightly damage to less robust footwear is inevitable, because the pronounced tips of the metal footrests leave their mark. And when maneuvering with an unprotected shin, you risk one or the other quite painful injury.

With this in mind, we developed our footrest rubbers for normal everyday use, for travel, for the daily way to the office or for use in the city. Their profiled surface offers perfect grip. They are used in a form-fitting manner and protrude over the edge of the original footrests and frame it, so that contact with the shinbone is guaranteed to have no consequences. The contact with the shoes anyway. In addition, they ensure pleasant damping of engine vibrations. The precisely formed counter bracket, which is screwed on twice from below, ensures that the peg support is held securely. And if you visit the site, you can quickly and easily remove it for the really tough jobs.
