Fitted to /6 models and very early /7 too, this increasingly rare console has the brake warning light at the top, and the indicator light at the bottom.

It is no longer available from BMW.

Please be aware that it is rare to find undamaged examples, as the plastic becomes brittle with age, and the threaded inserts pull out with the screws.
