Replacement for speedo and tachometer housing glass R2V street models NOT R45, R65, R80ST, R80G/S, R80R, R100R and Mystic, R80GS, R100GS and the PD versions.

These replacement glasses is made of PVC, set does include glue.

The replacement glass replaces both the glass, and the original aluminium bezel, which is easily removed with a sharp craft knife.

Fitment of the replacement glass requires removal from the housing of the 2mm thick plastic flange that the original glass sits on. This plastic flange forms the top part of the groove that the rubber shroud locates into.

The plastic flange is easily removed from pre 77 instrument housings, but for later ones, BMW used more glue, so you might have to take a little time with a sharp craft knife or Dremel and trim away some of the excess glue to fit the glass properly.
