This oil cooler bypass fits any BMW oil filter cover and can be used with the original hollow bolts and washers.

Please note, it cannot be used for thermostat covers!

It belongs in the on-board tool kit for when you're on the go, because if the oil cooler starts to leak, for example due to falling stones, you can simply screw it on and continue driving. It can also be screwed onto the oil filter cover after removing the oil cooler without having to laboriously change the oil pipe, oil filter cover, etc.
