Ideal for the R100GS and R100R which have a non thermostatic oil cooler but may be fitted to any twin fitted with an oil cooler too. It regulates the temperature of the engine oil (starts to open at 90°C/194°F, fully open at 110°C/230°F). Engine reaches normal operating temperature faster and is therefore more efficient.
