XCP Rust Blocker is a soft, anti-corrosive compound. It creates a soft, long lasting protective barrier to protect any steel, metal or alloy surface against the effects of rust and corrosion.
Spray it, wipe it, brush it or dip it. A soft tack, that resists cracking. Depending on the level of protection required, coating thickness can be further reduced by buffing down if necessary. The bonding of the film with the metal surface will ensure market leading corrosion resistance. If used on coated and/or non-metal surfaces and parts, test on an inconspicuous area first.
Use it on exposed metal surfaces, including engine components, suspension units, undercarriage, box sections, chrome, chains, electrical connections, motors, shafts, spindles, as well as tools and equipment for shipping and storage, and many more! We get a lot of people asking about the application of XCP Rust Blocker. The thing is, it’s very versatile. You can spray it, wipe it, brush it or use it for dipping parts into. You can even buff it down on those parts that you want to keep shiny. It will still offer great levels of corrosion protection. So, it’s up to you really how thick a film you want to use. It all depends on the application. If you want the highest levels of protection and cosmetics aren’t an issue (think cavity protection, chassis sections, etc.), just spray and go! Alternatively, wipe or brush it down a bit to leave a clear even film. At the other end of the scale, buff it down to the point where it doesn’t even look like there is anything left. Just look at the water repellence of the surface, and you will see that there is a protective film on the surface.
