This is a stainless steel spacer bush as used on our Surefoot side stand FRA42949.
This is required if you have a model built before 01/1984. These were fitted with a different gear lever which sits closer to the bike. This means it will not clear the Surefoot when fitted.
If your pivot bolt is 33.5mm long then you will need to swap this for the later style pivot bolt GEA38639 or SSA38639 which then requires use of this spacer.
