This is a reconditioned exchange Valeo starter motor and solenoid with a standard 12 month warranty.

It is longer than the Bosch starter motor fitted to some R1200 models, however it can be used as a replacement. Although the starter motor cover cannot be refitted.

Please note:

This is an exchange item. We can supply a starter motor before receiving your reconditionable exchange motor, subject to a refundable deposit, so your bike can be kept on the road. 

Please add ELC06700a for the deposit to your basket. This will be refunded when we receive, and have inspected, your motor. Alternatively if you wish to send us your starter motor in advance rather than pay the deposit just add the part number ‘EXCHANGE-1’ to your basket. When we receive, and have inspected, your unit we will then despatch the order.

In order to be reconditionable the starter motor must be complete and without damage to the casing or the aluminium nose.
