The experience Wunderlich gained from their engine protection bars for the big Enduro Boxer models was put to good use when developing the "Xtreme" engine protector for the F-models.
The "Xtreme" protector has a special frame bolted directly to the engine cases, with vibration/shock reducing rubber/metal silent block mounts connecting the actual protector plate to the frame. This prevents the impacts to be passed on directly to the frame/engine and reduces the risk of damage to the motor and stripped attachment bolt threads.
The "Xtreme" not only offers best protection, it also gives the F a serious off-road appearance.
