Battery jump start terminal kit
Anyone who has had a flat battery on one of these machines will know the frustration of dismantling the bike to get at the battery to connect jump leads. From late 2003, BMW
introduced this neat arrangement to enable jump leads to be connected in seconds. This popular modification enables owners of older bikes to fit an easily accessible positive
terminal on the bike's battery; see the second picture to see it in action.
Although this kit was designed for 2003 on models some people have had success fitting them to earlier bikes, such as the R1100RT. If there is space under the front of the rider's
seat, this kit may fit. The bracket is approximately 65 mms in length.
The kit contains :-
- ELA71334 Extension bracket (1)
- ELA71354 + terminal pin (1)
- ELA72395 + terminal cap (1)
- SSA32099 M6 washer (1)
